Modern Greek: a young language<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Modern Greek did not become an official language until 1976<\/strong>, following a reform that saw it take precedence over learned Greek, a close relative of Classical Greek and used only by very few people in increasingly restricted contexts. This variant could do nothing against the advance in Neo-Greek, spoken by the vast majority of the population and significantly simpler than the classical language. Recently canonized, Modern Greek has a strong simplification of grammar and accentuation<\/strong>, as well as many lexical influences from Italian and Turkish. In addition, in the wake of the dialects of the classical era, some linguistic differences between regions remain even today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Listening carefully to the client’s needs<\/strong> is of paramount importance to us at Eurotrad. In fact, we believe that this is the only way to achieve the set goals. Based on this preliminary analysis, we decide how to proceed, using a customized approach on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n

The project manager<\/strong> decides which professional to assign to each translation, evaluating the subject matter to be covered. This is because there are many differences, for example, between translations from (or into) Greek in science<\/a>, advertising<\/a>, tourism<\/a>, etc. Depending on the topic, the translator who can best deal with it is chosen. And as with clients, the relationship with our collaborators is also based on listening and mutual exchange of suggestions along the way.<\/p>\n
